M.Sc.A Poly Montreal, engineer ETS, engineer at Bombardier Inc. (Canada) and TetraPak Plastics (Switzerland), President of ARD SA (Switzerland) for 10 years, Patrick Haas leads flow simulation projects for the swiss and european industry. He teaches courses of thermodynamics, CFD simulation, aerodynamics and gaz dynamics.

PhD from Caltech, and research scientist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena (USA), then at EPFL (Switzerland), leads the development of new testbeds and is managing experimental fluid mechanics projects. He teaches fluid mechanics, as well as a new course focused on the environmental aspects that are proper to the new generation of mechanical engineers.
