CMEFE main activities involve:
- development in all fields related to fluid mechanics and energetics
- aerodynamics in the field of transportation systems
- aerodynamics of buildings and structures
- ventilation (modeling and testing)
- electronic cooling
- pollutant dilution
- wind energy
- energetics
- sport aerodynamics
- mini-hydraulics
CMEFE is
especially active in the aerodynamics of buildings and other civil
engineering structures. Its large subsonic wind tunnel allows measurements
and visualizations on relatively large size models.
It regularly leads measurement campaigns on terrestrial or aerial
vehicles.
Moreover, it is an active participant in the preparation of athletes
in various sports such as bobsleigh, downhill skiing, and ski jumping.
As for technology transfer, cmefe works regularly on industry contracts
covering various domains ranging from subsonic and supersonic aerodynamics
to thermal systems and energy management.
