CMEFE is especially active in the aerodynamics of buildings and other civil engineering structures. Its large subsonic wind tunnel allows measurements and visualizations on relatively large size models.

Moreover, it is an active participant in the preparation of athletes in various sports such as bobsleigh, downhill skiing, and ski jumping.
